Level 939

Soooooooo I finally finished the grind to 939, and honestly, it's not exactly as great as I thought. I guess you should always read the posts in detail but I guess my main issue is instead of needing 500000 to "level up" it now takes 1000000. So ever four hours I was pulling in 2 donuts with two level ups, 30 KEMs. Now it takes 4 hours to get maybe 3 donuts, only if I guess right. Ya it only takes 50000 to pick another box but so that means I'm still potentially spending money just for the extra donut. Is there a better way? A link to another thread?

*disclaimer* I have no idea what my multiplier is, and not sure how to figure that out.

    On average, you will get 2 donuts per box for 1 million XP, the same as before level 939. Click on the link in my signature to find out if you should be paying to open more boxes.

    Here's my strategy on opening bonus boxes:
    I got 3! Hooray for me!
    I got 2. That'll do.
    Only 1? Try again son.
    Actually I hardly ever go for a second try. I usually just take whatever I get. On average you're going to get 2 donuts from the Bonus boxes. It may not seem that way sometimes, but you can't use 2, 3, or even 100 attempts as a baseline for your average. You need at least 1000 samples.
    As for the difference between pre and post 939: You were getting 1 donut for 500,000, now you're averaging 2 donuts for 1,000,000. That's the same number of donuts per dollar (or XP).

    Hey I really like your simulator! But just FYI bug report: the "Open if guaranteed improvement" option is displaying the wrong $$$ value in the "Spend per 4 hours" field - it is displaying the "Total Spent" value instead of the 4 hour value...

    @redec69 I cannot take the credit for the sim, @alapalme posted it some time ago, but doesn't post on the forum very often, that's why I decided to link it in my signature.

    I think differently on this : IGC is free, donuts are not. Go for three every time!
