Leveling up too fast

The best way to not level up as fast is to not play as much.
  • This was happening to me when I was at lower levels. It is usually a result of doing 60 minute tasks and visiting a lot of friends. You eventually catch up but I understand it is a bit frustrating when your playing level doesn't match your game level. Also if you are concentrating on decorating this will make you progress faster for your level due to the xp of decorations.
  • Leveling up too fast is nothing bad that should be avoided. On the contrary: Once you've reached the top level, you'll get donuts after you gather a certain amount of XP, and the sooner that happens, the better.
  • The building prices are related to the level that they become released. Stop building at level 30 to avoid the multiplier affect and go back and do squidport (extra cheap buildings)
  • My advice is more of how to make money. Short of just stopping, there is no way to not level up.

Always have your Springfield people working, crops growing, etc. so they can make you money. Put them on jobs that you know you can come back to and collect. If you can't check for 10 hours, put them on 12 hour jobs. If a random task of 1 hour pops up and you can't finish it in an hour, it can wait.

Also, think about buying decorations that increase your multiplier. The higher it is, the more money you make. I hate house farms, but you can have more than one house, just don't stick them together. And forget the extra brown houses, unless you can check your game constantly.

It took me 10 months from when I started playing until I bought all the land. It took me about 4 months to level up completely and that was when it only went up to level 20. You just started. And I never bought donuts until I had been playing for about 7 months. So I leveled up without the premiums, at first.
  • There is no way that you can earn money in order to build buildings without also earning XP to level you up, so there isn't a real solution, but fortunately it also isn't really a problem.
