Don't you know? It's our daily 11:30 outage. Every time the time is extended so look for your game to be back within the next 6-8 hours because yesterdays took 5 hours (at least). Mostly joking b...

Exactly what I said! Since it seems to be a daily occurrence, I've started assigning tasks planning for a daily outage.
They didn't plan for the influx of players on their server, since I've resigned myself to daily outages (although in the corporate world habitually outages is NOT ACCEPTABLE and grounds for firing)....I'm fine with it and it is a free game.. Just had to adapt/adjust my way of playing this game.

And while it is free for those of us who don't buy donuts, there are many people spending big bucks on buying them. Some of the people on my friend's list seem to be buying them several times a week. I don't think EA's management really cares about fixing this problem.
