So for the last 3-4 days now I have been getting the same 2 types of errors when trying to play world of chel.
It's extremely frustrating seeing my friends play but I cant play.
I've been having the same issue. Tried everything to fix it but no luck. Workaround right now is to play under a different PSN/Xbox account and different EA account. It at least lets you play but it's still annoying that you can't accrue coins and skill levels on your main account.

Right there with you for the last 4 weeks... same two errors and deleting the club did not solve for anything. They're "investigating" while many of us will likely never be able to play and are out $100. Can't get refunds as the issue did not begin until I had owned the game for 10+ days. We're simply **bleep** out of luck. Hopefully we all wise up before future EA purchases.
Same exact problem is happening with me
I get the failed to retrieve error after each time I tried to load the final round of Ones Eliminator where I get an "Unexpected error" message After deleting the save file I also face the issue at round 1 after a few games, and also Game Configuration failed is shown. The game suffered a configuration fail. Please try again.
Might be a system cache issue. Fully shut your console down, unplug for 30 seconds and reboot
