Lou and Eddie Won't Go to Krustyland

Does anyone know how to make Lou and Eddie go to Krustyland?
I am trying to do the "Sensible Eating Pt 2" task. Wiggum is overloading his plate, but Eddie and Lou seem to be caught in a loop. If I click the "Do it" button, I am told Eddie or Lou (depending which I click) is in Springfield and asked Do I want to return there?
Once back in Springfield, I am told this task must be completed in Krustyland. Do I want to travel there? When I click go, neither Eddie nor Lou are in Krustyland and this process begins again.
Yes, both Eddie and Lou are waiting for something to do and wandering Springfield aimlessly. And presumably quite hungry.
I have tried a a hard restart of the game and the device.
