Wow, I never noticed that! Just tried it and, my apologies, you are absolutely right! No worries... That one's an annoying little oddity and nowhere near as important as overall stability... However when you get several of the silly little things combined with the big issues... Together they just make you think "Grrrr...".

I know I've ranted / moaned in this thread a fair bit. I suppose what's upset me most is that I expect more from EA, and I also know how good the game can be. You can see the potential and it's frustrating to see a trusted source like EA having a game that obviously has so many problems, and stops people from being able to play as intended. This is then even more frustrating when it's a game that utilises real world time the way it does.
