MAKE THE NOTIFICATIONS STOP!!!

Go into settings on your iPad.
Go to Notifications.
Select Tapped Out
Turn off Sound there.
Voila. No Homers.

@pbarrett1 I'd already done that a while ago. Those settings are off, the ones you get to by tapping info while the game is on are off and my phone is not set to receive notifications. Yet still, Homer wails at me.

to those posting the "simple" solution, it simply does not work for a lot of us. to clarify...
turning all alerts badges sounds off STILL makes homer yell when tasks are done

i cant believe EA is so slow and unresponsive that knowing this has been a problem for a long time they haven't even acknowledged it. at least let us know if ur trying to fix it or something

it's been fixed now for a month or 2. it's in the settings tab now, not the notifications

so go to
settings > tapped out(all the way at the bottom) > Local Notifications set to off

I still want to get a notification when things finish in the game, but I dont want to hear Homer's voice anymore, its gotten a bit annoying, any chance I can just have the normal "ding" versus his voice instead?
