- where's the "they made a redundant thread on the forum, so i booted them option"??
especially near updates, it get's BAD - My criteria is two fold, if they don't occasionally visit AND they do not have a tile for me to tap, adios. I have a ton of empty space now leading up to the Christmas event. I'll start filling slots once the update kicks in.
- People who are inactive based on their profiles or never have their characters on tasks

None of my "friends" have done that.
Yet.- Guess I will have to send you a new request :)
I used to come home drunk and then play "friend roulette." It involves a random number generator and the deletion of a friend :)
Now I keep people who visit during events, people who are forum regulars, and people who have hacked towns. During Halloween I got rid of about 30 people, some of whom were added during Halloween (those annoying sp tile threads where people say they tap it daily, but after a week never visit you once). Now I have about 40 neighbors and thinking of dropping 10, mostly because they have farms or don't visit ever (even during events). - ... I don't get a lot of time to visit 100 friends regularly in the "off-season". I've been trying to visit those who visit me, or who I know are tile/farm/Channel 6 tappers so we all benefit. That being said, I can't really hold lack of visits against people since I'd be a hypocrite, but when an event starts and you're not participating, bye-bye. annettemarc wrote:

I would never get rid of you.
But I'm wondering....
Are you going to decorate your town? Hurry, company's coming!Jedihntr wrote:

Don't ever feel obligated to visit me neighbor. I rarely visit myself. Life is too busy for me. I only make time to visit friends during events. But, I'm gonna go on break now, so I'm gonna visit you now.- I have a ridiculously detailed spreadsheet. (Not because I'm obsessed with the game. Nope. I'm obsessed with spreadsheets. Honestly. I love the things. I have a spreadsheet detailing all the light bulbs required in our house and how many of each kind we have in stock with auto-alerts when we run low... yes, light bulbs, don't pity me, my spreadsheet is amazing.) I note down who I visit each day (as sometimes I don't make it to everyone, though I usually do), and whether they have things on the glitch or not. I then note down what they tap when they visit me: tile, channel 6, farm, other.
Real-life friends and forum regulars are noted in yellow and are safe.
Anyone who hasn't visited in a week or so and has other signs of inactivity (no change to level, aimless characters, etc) gets axed, logic being that they're probably inactive anyway.
Anyone who repeatedly avoids tapping my glitches but is using the glitch themselves gets axed, logic being that they're mean and selfish.
Anyone who doesn't have the Christmas update within the first couple of days will also be axed.
Other than that, if you're visiting me, you're staying on the list. Only exception would be to make way for a real-life friend or a forum regular, in which case those who are least helpful to me (e.g. the one who actively seeks out my brown houses every single visit) are top of the list of people to cull.
Mostly, people have a hard time getting on the list in the first place. Any random invites get ignored if my list is full, which it usually is. If it somehow isn't, anyone who's annoyed me on the forum (whether they know it or not, muahahahaha) gets declined. Anyone with rude, offensive, or sexually explicit names gets declined. Anyone who sends a PM saying "bro, add me" gets declined.
Anyone who bothers to PM and ask nicely gets in and goes on the safe list.
Wow, that was a lot of words.
