I think that would be a great idea. We should do something in Marcia's memory that would be fitting for her character.
I think of her whenever I see Edna Krabappel walking through my Springfield.
Whenever I see Edna walking or I send her in a job it makes me think how hard it is to believe that the character has no voice anymore because the woman who made the character we all know and love is no longer with us sure they could probably use technology to replicate her Voice but we all would know that it's not the same.- I would have to have a better idea of what you are thinking? Emotionally yes but what a precedent to set. If it takes up game room how do turn down those who will pass away in the future?
Whatever the tribute it would have to be tasteful, which is really difficult to do in a game meant for fun. - While I do believe an in-game tribute is in order, having one that size would just be too much. Maybe a new skin for the in game characters home. Maybe a easily visible picture on the roof and when you click the apartments, it has a little memorial quote or something to that degree.

That would be an excellent tribute.- I think a little statue of her the same size as liberty lisa would be a very fitting tribute.
- I'm all for paying tribute to a great voice actress, but it has to make sense in the universe of the game. A huge photo frame of Marcia Wallace the actress (rather thn Mrs. K the character) that "towers above the rest" certainly does not and frankly sounds so absurd that I almost doubt the OP is serious.
Please, just try to picture it. A tribute should be small and sweet rather than large and off-putting. Also, this is game based on a TV show, and Marcia Wallace's voice hasn't even been in the game, only the character she voiced on the show. So paying her such a tribute seems out of proportion. Sorry for cutting through the treacle here.
(By the way, ever since Marcia Wallace's death, I have Mrs. K on a permanent 24-hour task. Consider that my way of paying tribute.) subii42 wrote:

+1
This feels more appropriate.MrWhiplash82 wrote:

Exactly. If this were to be implemented it would have to be something small and fitting - to the actress, to the character, and to TSTO sensibility. Large emotions do not necessarily equal large gestures, but rather meaningful ones.HWick_Bluenose wrote:

Bringing in her voice would be the best tribute imo. After all she was a voice actress on The Simpsons.- Two land squares is a lot. Why not have a billboard or a statue like the jebidiah one?
