Not really, at least I see his point. I joked around about feeling dirty when I bought her, but to be honest, I would pay $20 every now and then to help the game stay afloat, even if I recieved nothing directly in return. Think of how many hours of entertainment you have recieved over the years. Think of how much you have spent. Now think of how much it would have cost if it was a family guy-like game where they gouge you at every turn. All in all, I still think this game is a decent value. And when you consider there are people who have never spent a single penny on it, that value goes way up.

Just my $0.03 worth.

look, if one feels the need to call people out as whiners because the majority of us don't like being forced into buying a $20 donut bundle just to pick up one exclusive character, i'd call it justification. i've bought boatloads and then some over the years playing this game, and you're trying to tell me to think about how much i've spent vs how much i'd have to potentially spend on other games.... sorry bro, that didn't sway me at all. call me crazy, but i don't play games that gouge you at every turn, nor would i ever come to accept that. i try to think more about where that $20 would be better off being spent in my life now, whether it's soccer cleats for the kids or a new frying pan or whatever, and it becomes real easy to put into perspective whether or not to take part in this sale. the game is at the point where it's not difficult to make your own donuts; it's intentional, and it's been established that even lower level folks with smaller bonuses can take advantage of it. i feel like i've done my fair share of supporting this game over the years.... definitely don't feel like i have to shell out 20 bucks for one virtual, digital character to prove that.
