Mega playscape upgrades
After the act1 my playground is not yet fully upgraded... how can we upgrade it?

Originally tried to fortify to completion, but couldn’t get past a certain level. Saw this thread & assaulted back to ground zero in the hopes of being able to rebuild.
Since then I’ve tried every combination: fortify only. fortify more than assault, assault only, assault more than fortify. Each time there is no change. I’ve taken screenshots incase the changes were subtle, but nada.
Any tips or ideas?
Destroy it completely by ONLY assaulting it. When it is completely demolished, fortify it. This worked for me. Make sure NOT to mix the tasks. Even one might screw it up.
