Mega playscape upgrades

But, unless you have crafted or bought enough items to get both bases to 20%, then you have to send both adults and kids to the same base, right? So that would nullify any changes to the base, unless you have more kids than adults, or vice versa.

Ok, there's 2 different things being talked about here:
1. Upgrading the payout of the bases - the 20% thing
2. Upgrading the physical appearance of the bases
To upgrade the payout you add crafted stuff around it in the light blue bonus zone.
To upgrade the appearance you send the characters to the bases to Fortify. If you send characters to Attack then the appearance gets worse. If you're sending more to Fortify than Attack it will gradually improve. Sending more Attackers than Fortifiers will make it look worse.

Have them fortify the act two building, not assault the act one building.

I’m just waiting until I have both at 20% and then I’ll have the kids fortify one and the adults fortify the other, then make everybody switch.

But this is really just a pointless exercise in the end. All one should care about is maximizing pay out for each character.

i have some feeling that fully upgrading or fully destroying the forts might be a quest line in the final act. So i'm leaving mine at middle ground right now.

I would like the giant toilet decoration and I hope that you can toss giant, stupid decorations like this in it and then flush it away and never have to see it again.

For it not changing. LPN had a post saying if it doesn't seem to upgrade anymore you might have to completely destroy it and then completely fortify it.
