I had the same issue with my Sony xperia j, deleted practically everything off it & still wouldn't update as you have to have the space on the actual phone even if the game is stored on an SD card or additional storage. Thankfully I had an understanding hubby who installed it on his, but then got fed up with me using his phone and got me a tablet for Christmas! Its insanely quick on here! Think the game is getting to big for basic smart phones now.
