Mining donuts: What’s the highest you’ve found?
I got 100 one time, and Homer exclaimed “Woohoo!” Anyone else get this amount yet?

I don't recall restarting or doing anything while the game updated. It was very sluggish so i just left it alone until it seemed finished.
But here's some pics explaining what I'm experiencing. This first pic just illustrates where i am on the grid. I'm at the point where it goes from 2 deeds to 3, to unlock a square.
In this pic you can see I've highlighted with the Area Select Tool for storage. It's prepared to store 10 items even though you can only see 5. They are doubled.
This next image reveals the two pickaxe icons, showing there's two rocks to be mined, in the same location. This is why the first rock highlights red, until it is moved off of its "double".
The items in the plot to the right, are not doubled. The rock has a single pickaxe icon.
