I have been experiencing the missing Handshakes glitch for the last few days - that is when a neighbour has tapped your buildings, but there is no handshake, just a $ sign. It's not consistent - some buildings are still showing the Handshakes. Anyone else?(I took a quick look thru the first few pages and did not see it mentioned - if this has been mentioned recently then I apologize for missing it. I also did a search, but the threads I found were a bit old.)

Thanks neighbour @truenykitty It seems to be more than just those for me. :(It's hard to know what to clear and to leave for neighbours when I can't see exactly what has already been tapped. I only discovered it when I accidentally hit something that appeared to be untapped. That prompted me to clear the whole area I usually leave for neighbours, and I discovered several more. I'm going to start keeping track of the exact buildings that I'm not getting the handshakes for.Neighbours - I'm sorry if it looks like there is not much to tap in my town. I just can't determine what has already been tapped by neighbours if I don't clear everything.

Me too, synching with server sometimes helps - for the most part my handshakes only appear when I clear the building and see a name though.

I have had missing handshakes. I also had a couple double handshakes the first day of the update.

I'm having a lot of 1 building/visitor, which I know is off as I've never seen @fastshadow2 @IckabodSchrek or @happyone2323 only tap 1 building before.
I'm unclear on my side-if I'm always clearing my town by collecting is that making it so no one can have anything to tap? I don't know how to "not collect" especially since I've been upgrading IRS building. So tap SH currency building clears about everything on the screen.
Guess I'm just not clear on how my clearing my town affects visitors.

Someone told me this was back a couple of weeks ago. But I have not seen this in my town - only the missing handshakes. I'd much rather have the multiple handshakes :)

All my handshakes were missing this morning - got the name of who tapped the building but all appeared with $ signs as available to tap.

I am still having issues with missing handshakes since the update. It isn't a big deal in my main town, but my crawl town is still collecting FP points and I have lost a lot due to this issue.

As stated earlier - some of the handshakes are there, some aren't there - even if the item has been tapped on by a neighbour, it's missing the handshake (making it hard to determine what has and hasn't been tapped by a neighbour).

I'm still seeing the names of neighbours when clearing the items with the missing handshakes.

But it makes it hard to leave things for people to tap because it is hard to determine what has and hasn't been tapped. I have to clear everything to see if someone has tapped it (and to clear it so it can regenerate for someone else to tap).

I'm sure this is probably happening to way more people than just those who have posted here. They just probably aren't noticing it (due to mass collecting with the IRS, tapping while doing other things etc.) And because some handshakes are still appearing it might not be something people are looking for.

Update: May 10 2017

Still happening... :/

I really hope this gets fixed - while I'm still seeing some, there are also ones that do not have the handshakes (but when tapping the building - dollar sign/cash register etc. - the name of a neighbour appears).

So again - it's hard to know what to clear and keep for neighbours...

I wish they would just fix this already. It's very frustrating.

I thought this was fixed ages ago. I haven't had (noticed) any problems like this in a long time. Guess we need to keep our eyes a little more open.

@suetopia is not alone. I also have this issue and have for awhile. Flander's house is the one that I notice the most. Simpson's house has the handshake. Flander's just shows the name. It makes it difficult to know if somebody has visited if you can't see and clear the handshakes.

To be honest, I can't remember not having handshakes(?) I wish they'd fix the av issue! (but that's an entirely different topic).

Some of us have not been getting handshakes on some of the buildings tapped by neighbours.

It's not effecting everyone (as you have stated that you are getting handshakes and multiple handshakes), but its been a persistent problem for some (including myself) since at least November 2016.
