I had a couple decent sized empty spots in two areas already, so I just reserved those as two monorail station spots once the event started... so far I've only had to relocate two buildings. Other than that, I've only had to shift some little things (fences/trees/shrubs) or nudge a couple buildings a slot or two to one side or another to make room for where I want the track to go.... took two straight pieces and did a mock-layout of where the track will run (assuming I get enough), and placed curved pieces in the proper spots I'll need them when I get enough straight ones to get to that point. Looks a little odd at the moment with a free standing curved track off by itself, but eventually it will all come together.
