@Amazon Thanks for letting me know! This morning I counted and had 12 Feds and lots of handshakes. Hope this is corrected soon!

I am having the same problem with the game crashing many times while trying to visit neighbors (playing on an android device). It has happened before in the past, and eventually after a few weeks of frustration it goes away as mysteriously as it started. If I remember right, last year when this happened was around the valentines event, and after it was cleared up on android devices, people with IOS devices started to complain about crashes.

And by the way, I am having the same problem on 3 different android devices, so its not your device.

I'm having the same issue on iOS. I can drop Feds and collect presents but as soon as I go to move towns it crashes. I tried re starting my phone. Uninstalling and reinstalling the game.... Nothing worked. I tried giving it an extra minute before I switched towns and that seemed to work. I have a neighbor who always h-words the game that I've been meaning to delete, but I noticed everytime I switched to their town that's when the crashes started. I deleted them today and so far no issues. This may be a coincidence but, two birds, one stone.

I don't get kicked out after 1 or 2 visits, like the OP mentioned, but for the past 2 days, I had this same thing happen, but with different neighbors. Tap through my list, get to a particular neighbor with H as the first letter, tap 2 things and as soon as I tap the third, crash. Return to that neighbor, crash after crash after crash. Cool. That neighbor justs gets 2 out of 3 Feds or taps, no big deal.
The next day, tapping through my neighbor list (no problem this time with this "H" neighbor's town) and get to a particular "W" (first initial. This is also to give an idea where in the list this is happening) neighbor, same thing.
So, now when I crash on a neighbors 3rd tap, I'm just moving on to the next instead of returning instantly to crash.
For me, and until EA fixes it or whatev, this is the fix from my end.

Glad to hear it's not just me (well not glad, but you know what I mean). I can't pinpoint the issue to a particular neighbour unfortunately and today, burn of all burns, when I tried to start out in Other Springfield on the third tap I saw a donut pop up JUST as it crashed! Obviously didn't register when I opened the game again. I'm going to try the old total delete and download trick and if not, maybe things will improve after the event.

Again, sorry to my neighbours! Hang in there with me!

You have 2 towns? Anyway, good to know. Today seemed better, yesterday I had lots of handshakes and no Feds. Still getting knocked out of the game more than usual.

Good point about the problems being in certain towns - that is definitely the case for me - a few very full (and beautiful) towns are causing issues - and they are often full of Feds too.

I've not had any force stop's in a couple day's, knock on wood. Also I'm using a droid turbo now but with the galaxy S3 I had issues routinely for crashes.

Just today I had the problem with no Feds lots of handshakes in my town. Previously I'd find 10-12 Feds most times. I don't think I ever had 20. Now I have 0. I hope there are enough presents in other ways that the Feds won't matter.

I'm having it crash on one of my neighbors. This neighbor is loaded with premium items.

I am having a few friends towns cause crashes. Will see if they are roadless/street less ones.

I came on here because I seem to have issues with every event. Last year on both. My ipad3 and S4, the wheel crapped out, and robbed me repeatedly of the prize the pointer said I won. I did do screen captures, sent to EA, got nothing, no response.

Last night I noticed I was not getting any presents from any town, no matter if I was posting Feds, or clicking a present. It has been almost 24 hours, and STILL not getting anything from any friends town's!!!!! GRRRRRRR :twisted: :evil: :shock: :oops: :evil:
