Neighbors not in Stonecutters event: Tapping or passing by?

I waited until last weekend and then I deleted any neighbors I had that weren't in the event. There's a whole thread of people looking for new friends, so it didn't take long to replace them.

Yeah, I get rid of neighbors who don't play for awhile too, but I have some neighbors who are still playing but who don't have the event update yet. I do keep them because I just figured they are having issues with the update. Besides, I can get all my emblems from my event friends first, then come back around and tap for the non-event friends (which there's only a couple of).

oh this is one of my neighbors, i keep him around just for laughs.

i have another that is just Homer standing there all alone, no buildings. lol.

Lol. How funny. I forgot how small Springfield was at the beginning. I kind of miss it. It makes me want to start my third game. My first game was freemium and I got bored with it and ended up abandoning it. I love my second, premium one. I may have to try another freemium one from scratch. I've already inadvertently started a new one by accidentally clicking the splash screen instead of logging in. I may have to start playing it. :D

This is more or less what I do. The few I have *are* playing, but got a late start on their lodges. I figure it wouldn't be neighborly to penalize them just for that, and hope they'll remember my good deeds once they do get going with spying. :-D

Besides, it does increase my chances for donuts!

You get more emblems from neighbors spying on you than you get spying on neighbors. A neighbor who can't spy on me is a neighbor that isn't helping me with this event. All of my neighbors at this point are full of spying goodness. (Except one. Extenuating circumstances, so I'm keeping them.)
  • Always tap all my neighbors, I do the Event ones first to make sure the Emblems get used right and the game doesnt take em away for non event friends, but I do every single friend.. why would a event change that? lazyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy
  • I tap because it's the right thing to do...

Well, I'm fortunate in that I'm two days ahead on the emblem schedule. I doubt I'll get close to getting 30,000 emblems above the total, so I can afford a little leeway. I should still get all the prizes, if I keep up my current pace. Most of my neighbors are excellent ones and tap me even though I'm a "l".

I admit, if I were only holding my own or was behind, I'd be much more ruthless.

If I really needed emblems I'd probably give them another week and then drop them. But I'm way ahead in the event, so I'll wait. :)
