Neighbours copying your design?

My forest design is my own but almost everything else in my town is at least somewhat inspired by something I've seen in a neighboring town. I would never copy something exactly other than to try and figure out exactly how they did something but then I'll start changing it around to make it my own. The design aspect of this game is my favorite part. I love making a design that I think is great and then visiting a neighbor to see what they did and being so blown away that my design seems silly.

As for seeing my design in another town, I think an exact copy would be weird but I wouldn't be bothered by it. Seeing something that is their take on something I did would be great.
