So your just want to skip to the end? Your other half must love you.
Not even close. After collecting a million pick axes and hats a day, I want something more to show for my efforts than a single, crappy rock and another 24 hours wait before really getting to do anything in the event again. And that's really what this event is boiling down to - spend 2 minutes turning in resources, get your rock, then nothing for another day.- At the end of the event you can convert crafting to items (the date that in the event dates thread is called last chance).
There will be a way to convert them to decorations. Don't worry.
For the characters they are not tied to one crafting. Just send apu or homer to switch what currency they are giving you with the job and voila - heyababy47428Seasoned NewcomerNot a fan of the General Store (aka Halloween 2015 redux) concept. I don't find it fun or interesting.
I much prefer to work on the Wild West design DURING the Wild West event, not after.
I thought the casino event crafting was better than this. - This isn't crafting. This is more like a daily challenge/railyard mechanic. Honestly, I'm liking it better than actual crafting, but I agree that it's kinda stupid having prizes that are buyable for cash.
And EA has been increasingly limiting our ability to get ahead in events - phases, caps, etc. We haven't been able to really rush through them since something like COC. heyababy47428 wrote:

That's kind of my whole point. This slow crawl is really keeping me from getting into it. I'm not getting to design a badlands, I'm just occasionally throwing rocks into a giant sandbox...very, very, very slowly.- Really boring event. I now have 4 rooks lined up in a row, waiting for tomorrows rock.
To quote CB "I got a rock." - DigitalBagginsNew NoviceActually I hated the casino event but I love this event just unlocked prize number 7. And if you guys & gals actually spend a little bit of money on the game with buying some of the premium items you might have a little bit more to do because there are more storylines with the premium items and then you might not be bored.

Assuming that I did not buy any premium items? Guess again. But my opinion is that it still is a boring event.- bluyoshi88810Seasoned NewcomerI have to agree. This crafting system is insane. I barely got caught up to the calendar yesterday. What really annoys me is that you can only earn one resource at a time from the Saloon (hats or pickaxes). They're making it so you have so go through all your resources in one day. At the rate I'm going, I'm probably not going to make it to the tenth prize.
