I’ve seen a few rumblings about a new event starting on the 10th. The current event ends on the 10th. WTH? Are EA trying to blow their servers up? With some people scrambling to finish and others trying to get the old one finished, it looks like a Bart screen nightmare. Not even a single day off! That having been said, I think I like the idea.

Agree. One of the best things about the game for me was seeing what new decorations, igc buildings were available at the start of a new event. Shame its a thing of the past now.
I did notice some pond/lake type decoration recently. No idea how long it's been available.
I had games that did not do the previous event and gathered the shatered coins during the event. Was looking to spend them during the pause in the new box, but none of those games saw the box because it appears to those that don't play in the event only when the event ends but now there were no hiatus it to show. Bummer.
