Night mode???
You're not the only one, I've had it too. I wondered why they looked like they had the lights on as if it were night time in Springfield.

A lot of buildings light up when occupied. It's odd that the Glitchfield Heights buildings keep animating without a task, but I don't think it's necessarily heralding night mode. It's just the latest on a long list of glitches.
