- Samsung Tab A. No update received. Even after reboot and COMPLETE reinstall.
Sooo, not a Kindle, did the clear cache, reinstall, reboot and different device routine - Next?
Don't misunderstand me, I'm grateful for the ones actually trying to assist, just feel EA should be addressing the issue and not the community. That is why I'm posting to the forum, so that EA staff does their job....
Thank you to the ones that actually did offer something.

- Restarted device - No change.
- Cache cleared AND complete reinstall - No change.
- Installed on a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT device where the app never existed - No change
-- The current Chili Cook-Off was not installed or offered (see previous message, I actually did state this).

About 3 or 4 days ago there was an update in Google Play Store (Android) for the game, I installed it and that appears this *might* be the problem as the people I know that did not install the update from the play store are getting the OTA update, the ones that did install the update are not getting the OTA update.
This may, however, also be the typical EA issue where they apply an OTA update to the *user account* so that the update is only offered when the specific person(s) access the game, and they haven't assigned the update to everyone's accounts; update error and should be considered a major issue/outtage.
Again, support doesn't offer one drop of support, just push people to the forum - that is not what I consider support; why is there even a support team if they are not going to support the product/software? A public forum is not a professional method of supporting customers, ohh wait, EA isn't really a professional company anymore..... OK, that explains it.
Still waiting on thos "developers" to contact me (yes, I know, no one from EA will contact the users, why would they? That would mean they would actually have to support their products), after all, the support clearly stated the developers would contact me if I posted to the forum...... - Just so you know, the developers will NOT contact you just because you're posting on the forum. I've never been able to figure out why they say that, other than to get people off their backs for a day or two - really disgusting behaviour if you ask me. Yes, you can often find help here, but not from EA.
If you're in North America, the best bet is the Call Back option from their help page. They've always been able to help me pretty quickly that way. Failing that, the Chat option.
Hope you're able to resolve this issue, just don't wait for them to contact you. Keep on them until they fix it. - Thanks HappyGamer73, contacted support again and got the live chat option. They confirmed this is a major issue, and that allot of people are not getting the update/new content. They state this will most likely not be resolved until the beginning of next week. They are offering donuts to people that report the issue (both in live chat in ticket) now.
- Sounds weird. What level is your game at? Have you completed all the questlines?
I think you must have got the update. Sounds like you're playing the game. In-game updates are required before you can even play your game. App store updates give you a few days, and then are required, too. So, probably your level, yes? I heard it's minimum level 20. - OP,

There are no developers there, either. It's generally a players helping players forum. The community manager works for EA, I think. At the very least she is in contact with them. But mostly it's just players helping other players.
