I really hope Burns' sun blocking device is the next Cecil project. It would go nice with the total eclipse that is going to happen in the states a few weeks from now.

That actually wouldnt make a bad event, like a night-time Springfield, even if its just a mini-event, and we have to collect stuff to remove the Sun Block thingy.

I first heard about this eclipse when Halley's Comet came around in 1986. I was an 11-year-old nerdling that thought the idea of a solar eclipse was the most amazing thing in the universe, aside from Halley's Comet, of course. I'm beyond excited that it's almost here! I was so excited I had butterflies in my stomach when I booked the flight. Space-dork!!!

I thought this was going to be a Darth Vader thread. Now that was bad. Who's with me?

It looks very much that way, although when LPN didn't post about a server update earlier I suspected no event, let's hope tomorrow although EA haven't released anything on the Facebook page either so who knows it might be tomorrow, Thursday or even next week.

Now here's what I don't get: EA has a Facebook page for the game. They could post something to let us know what's going on, like "New update coming soon!"

But if they let us know when the update was going to happen they wouldn't be having such a laugh from reading threads like this one.
