I've probably been playing the game almost a year now, slowly building everything up and making the town feel right - if i'd got everything all at once, i'd have had no idea what to do with it all!
Spot on. I've been playing since August of last year. Once upon a time I thought that Krabapple's Apartment Building was soooo much money! Now I have all three aspirational buildings (Escalator, Magnifying Glass, Skyscraper) and what I feel is a pretty well-thought out Springfield. And while I did have some relatively small house farms at the beginning, those are now spread out into residential sections surrounding the bulk of the businesses. And, yes, I have happily spent some serious bucks on the game in order to ensure that I can jump on the Premium offerings.
Part of the enjoyment of this game for me has been to patiently grow my town over these several months. But that's just me. Different strokes for different folks, I suppose.
