Oh God, the Monorail is NOT a good idea
You do know your Springfield will still work fine if you don't have every item available dont you.

The monorail will be the saviour of Springfield.
It will be implemented like the KL shuttle bus and link to a new area of Springfield
that will have all the monorail content, and more importantly, allow regular Springfield
content too.
The current Springfield is at it's limits in terms of land space/item limits, and the
monorail will allow continued expansion of Springfield, in a separate map area admittedly.

Thanks!- You're all talking about the monorail like it's a sure thing. Even though it has been mentioned in a humorous quest dialog, we haven't actually been promised the monorail. Just sayin'
That said, it would certainly be interesting to see how EA would implement it. I'm a sceptic, but there are some brilliant ideas for them in this thread actually :) - Yeah MONORAIL, I LOVE it, one of the best episodes ever!

- Well considering it didn't work in the episode have a little bit of track then a gap and have it hanging in the gap, just make it about the size of the escalator maybe a little longer, then just let it dangle with pieces around the bottom.
