Old items Are Back (most of them at least)

No items are limited. They're "limited time". Which means they are available only at the times that EA chooses rather than all the time.

It's mostly the principle of the thing, right? Like, I get Fat Tony not being limited, he's a major character and we got him for "free" anyway, but when you ask people for real money for items that real money purchase becomes devalued when you don't define limited.

These characters were stated as being part of the Treehouse of Horror XXIII, a very specific time. They're not "Halloween" characters, they're Halloween season 23 characters. This would presumably be Treehouse of Horror XXV. It's nice that everybody wants their participation ribbon but this is just rolling out old content at the expense of those of us who've been dutifully playing the game for longer, and it's kind of a slap in the face to the long-term customers. They could roll out Kodos (and probably will) and have it be just as good.

July characters are labelled with "4th of July 2013". Will we be seeing them every year as well? Why put the year on it, then?
