I used to buy all the consoles when they came out, starting with the system before the Atari, what was that, Coleco? cant remember, but with a few exceptions got all the systems from Nintendo, Sega, Sony, Microsoft, but stopped with the Wii U. From now on I will purchase on a wait and see basis. I primarily use my Xbox 360, but even then, not very often as I refuse to buy a game if it wont give me at least 40 hours of gamepley, probably why I love the Elder Scrolls and Fallout series so much.
My PS3 is mostly used as a Blu-ray player, very rarely do I actually throw a game in the system. If it is a multi platform game, I tend to go with the 360, since they get the DLC long before Sony does.
I love new tech, but will have to approach it from a more pragmatic standpoint from now on. After all, what good is a system I almost never use?
I am looking forward to Tuesdays reveal though.
