Ugh, looks just like every other horror movie being made right now. At least Raimi and Campbell support it, and tapert has a producer credit in this one too. But still, somethings are best left alon...

As for the new Evil Dead remake, I have some trust that it wont be horrible just because both Campbell and Raimi were the decision makers in creating this remake, and had some say in the script. That said, remakes are often pretty bad.
I think if they stick close to the script/premise of either of the previous movies, with the higher end effects available now it will pretty good.
