The plate has been moved to the side to allow maximum airflow possible to the intercooler for your turbo, if its in its standard centre position it would greatly restrict the airflow, looking at the pic. See stock subies run a top mount intercooler, that's why there is a scoop on your hood. But once an aftermarket intercooler is fitted its better to place at front of the car. Many leave the scoop as added air for the engine plus still looks cool.
doh! didnt mention the fmic wasnt on the car when i purchased it. and even so they also make flip back brackets that would have done the same and also retained the stock mounting location.
and sorry about the pic size of the bike. first time uploading pics from mobile to imageshack via app.- Here's my ride. Hehe!

The flip brackets were designed by Japanese drift king and Japanese touring car champion kiechi tsuchiya. As the speed cameras on the Japanese highway take photos of your car head on from an overpass. At a certain speed this number player will fold up under the front bar, works on a hinge, so when the wanagan highway racers go past the speed camera thers no flash, no front plate there for no fine. Great and simple idea.Noturning wrote:
