It's supposed to rain here tomorrow, so we hid easter eggs around the living room. That can't possibly end in disaster. :P
And this is why I'm glad we've outgrown egg hunts. At 10, he just gets a basket.
Our next door neighbor brought over a little Easter basket her 5 year old had made for our son (she calls him her 'boyfriend'....it's kind of still cute at that age) and her mother said "I had to work today so we are doing our egg hunt tomorrow in the backyard since she couldn't go to any today".
I told her "do you know there is a 70% chance of rain tomorrow?" She looked surprised (why do people never check the weather????) So I suggested to her that she hide the eggs inside.
Inside lol.
I suspect that will not end well either.
I have visions of things crashing to the floor as the child looks behind them because she could have sworn the eggs were put there.
Our 2 year old opened the fridge, got a chair, and pinched some chocolate eggs off the top shelf, the cheeky monkey!
That was 2 days ago, so he got less chocolate today, and no hunt.
