Yes!

Was already growing corn and when it came time for the carrots, it didn't autocomplete

You can start Moe's task before it is triggered.
I sent him hunting bunnies yesterday and it counts for the questline.
Now I have to wait only 11 hours instead of 32. :)

Did you tap the "do it" button for the quest? Because that seems to be what forces the current crop to complete.

Nelsons egg task is retained it's just right in the middle of his task list for some reason.

Me too! I saw a task for Moe that paid off in eggs and I just chose it!

So it should almost be time now...did it count towards the questline??

EDIT: It worked! As soon as the quest for Moe came up, it said 3+ hrs. to completion instead of 32, and now it's done early! Woo-hoo!!!

It took me 2 attempts with the "Do it" button. The first attempt simply showed me my corn had 89 days left to grow. When I cancelled that and tried again the corn task somehow completed. I checked again and carrots started growing.

Thanks for the info, I can now say I'm about half way through the Easter event! :-D
