I have a Macbook, have had it for about 5 years and the trackpad is starting to give in. Plus the Mac itself is incredibly slow now. Have the latest version of Mountain Lion and have reformatted it recently, which didn't help at all.
Maybe time to invest in a new one. But TBH I don't really use it that often (I use my iPhone 5 for EVERYTHING), and I just don't have the cash to drop on it. Donuts, on the other hand...
+1. I have a MacBook Pro I bought for work, and I never use it. It's awesome, super fast, I love it, but with an iPhone, iPad, and KFHD, I never use the damn thing. Basically use my iPad/iPhone for everything, just like you said. So if you're gonna invest the money, I'd get an iPad, nothing you can't do on there and a few hundred cheaper :)
