I usually manage to hit Sideshow You 3 times a day so I've been getting the 5 donuts every 40 days (or thereabouts). Which works out to 360 balloon pops.
Recorded dates for getting 5 donuts:
Secondary game:

Primary game:
3/7/15
4/16/15
5/14/15
7/3/15
So I was due again on or about 8/12/15 in my primary game.
