By the way, my guess (being a programmer), is that the way this is implemented is to generate a random number between 1 and 6 inclusive and use that to index a table of the 6 possible distributions. Then put up the GUI. Hence where the donuts are is probably already determined before you choose a box. That table was found in the files during the Stonecutters event; adding evidence to my guess.
