Parchment Walkthrough and tips for Number 1's tasks (SPOILERS)

Weird thing with mine is that I only just started the squishee task but my time is less than 6 hours, not 12. Does the 12 hours start at a certain time of the day?

Is it 12 hours to complete all the tasks or does it mean that I must have STARTED the last task within 12 hours? Are we sure its only 12? Someone mentioned that their tasks ran pretty long ... I think they mentioned having a six and a four plus the other tasks all in one day. They calculated it would take 14 hours to complete. At the time I thought (and replied) that they were glitched. I thought it would always be three one-hour tasks and one four-hour.

Now I'm seeing people talk about two-hour tasks ...

Again, 12 hours sounds potentially undoable. Just wondering.

It's 24 hours with #1's tasks. I thought 12 (it was even/round) when I started the event 24 hours ago.

Based on posted info, seems task length is 1 hours, 2 hours, 4 hours, and someone reported an 8 hour one.

The parchment tasks for this thread, you have the entire event to do them. One just unlocks each day.

Maybe it starts at 24 hours and then goes to 12 or less once you send characters on a task. (I.E. you have a limited amount of time to collect the emblem reward for the task) I just sent characters on a 2hour task and the time to collect my reward is at about 10h,17m

As mentioned above, talking two separate things:

Tasks that #1 gives, there are a total of 4 where you can earn 150, 200, 250, and 400 emblems. Task starts at midnight and goes through the day, starting over in 24 hours. This is a good time to have insomnia as you can get them done early. As in my case today. Tasks can be 1, 2, or apparently 4 and 8 hours. I have only seen the 1 and two hour tasks.

Parchment quests are given after you have received and placed the parchment and it seems that one will be available each day. With only 2 days of experience, first one looks like a 4 hour quest and conflicts with Lisa going in search of clues in the library for 24 hours and an upcoming 12 hour quest that Bart does too. The second one lasted an hour and involved Apu feeding his kids. I have yet to do Lisa's but have finished Apu's, so it looks like you can do them in any order.

Made perfect sense. Wish I'd known yesterday that i could do those parchment ones out of order ... I sped Lisa up with donuts. (Impatience is my middle name). :)

I only sent one character per task, which did complete the task, but i don't want to miss out on extra emblems.

Also, you had 12 hrs to complete based on what time it was when you attempted. These tasks are on a 24 hr click that resets at midnight local rather than server time, which is something forum members have asked for in the past. Well see how much we like it in action. I had started the tasks rough after midnight last night so i had a full 24 hrs. My friend started this afternoon so she only had 8 hrs to complete the same tasks. This aims to reward as "early bird gets the emblems"!

Well you get 50 emblems for each character right? Well for one of the tasks I sent 4 characters and I get four of the 50 emblems.

Yeah so far the riddles have been very easy. It will be interesting to see if they get more difficult as the event continues.
