Well, if you wait a little while (the time it takes to collect money is more than enough), they start to converge around the tap ball stadium. Makes it much easier in your town.

Doesn't help much if you're just racing through your friends' towns, but if you're challenging them to games, there is usually enough time for some to gather around by the time the game is over.

Wait until you are trying to find the sports balls; the American football one is tiny.
