Pet Peeve: Buildings that look significantly different depending on orientation
I've noticed it, won't deny that. I just align it such that I think it looks best and place it where that orientation fits

Yea well that sucks.
What I do when I get a new building is figure out which way I want it to face first of all depending on how it looks then figure out what to do with it.- They gave us a couple options! I love options! You're also correct about the Viking ride, drives me crazy!
- yes i dont like it. it seems some have two sides and some have three. so some seem like a mirror flip and some seem like a 90* rotation.
this especially bothers me about the lard lad donut boy. upon initial testing, it appears i cannot orient him correctly in relation to the school, as seen in the shows opening credits. im wondering how I'll deal with this when i eventually redo the city to build the Town square in the center of the grid.
even worse is there no way to have a town square with the Aztec theatre facing the school across it unless the Aztec has that 3rd, rear side. idk cant afford it so...
i wish they all had 3 orientations, 2 fronts and a back. - I feel the same way. But I'm not sure if I'll ever do a real redesign of my town, so *sigh * I guess I'll live with it.
- With the Putt Putt, you can't see the monkey. And that's part of the animation when Todd is using it. I had it turned that way and it drove me crazy and I had to change it back.
The viking boat thing is just bizarre.
So, no, you are not alone. It also bugs the crap out of me. - The Viking boat is awesome.
It is one of the few buildings in th game that you can orient to face upward... Instead of the rest of your town/park all having to face down or left.
