Pie Man glitch

I have this to, but the timer is still counting down. Pie man always flings the pies in the same direction, though from time to time he suddenly is in another part of my Springfield.

Same here. I got worried when Pieman stood there flinging pies, but the task cleared on time. i assigned him another felon and he's chasing this one, not flinging pies.

Same thing happens to me with Fruit Bat Man Burns. Sometimes he will be on the other side of the town from the felon and he will be glitching between Fruit Bat Man and regular Burns.

I too had no issues with finishing the task.

i assigned him another felon and he's chasing this one, not flinging pies.

I did the same thing, but within 9 minutes he was throwing pies again and not chasing.

In a small way I'm glad it's not just me. Sorry to those experiencing the same glitch.

I shut the game and the device off until well past the time it indicated was left to complete the task. When I re joined the game the task was completed. If I add the time it said it was going to take to the time I know I started the task I'm figuring it took 10.5 hours to complete the task. Sense I went well past the time it said it was going to finish I can't be certin how long it may have actually taken.

I sent Plopper after the first fellon to complete the third step, and fallout boy after the second fellon to complete its second step. So far no glitching. Third fellon expected in just over 3 hours.

If I tap the fellon icon in the upper right I only see the last fellon process. That is I do not see all the fellon processes which are in progress. Is that the same for everyone? I was sort of expecting to see a list of all and who was currently involved? Not just the one.... I was wondering if I was seeing something different than others...

I had this happen too. I opened a case with Customer Support yesterday about noon local time with a Call Back request, I still haven't heard back...

I've encountered this problem as well. As for the OPs problem of starting the task 7 hours prior only to discover that only 20 minutes has passed. I think that this occurs when you send a character on a duel task and close the game before they have time to engage. It noticed this with Homer and Matt G's joint task. Just make sure Homer has engaged with the felon before closing your game. This should solve that problem

Make sure your super hero character has the correct skin before you begin the felon's task. The timer works fine but the super hero doesn't chase the felon if you don't select the skin first.

Thats probably it. I set alarm, woke up assigned task and closed the lid. Can't say I waited till pie man engaged to the point of chase. It's quite possible I closed cover before that happened. Which may also explain glitching between characters. Then when re opening I cleared everything before checking progress. So if it started after I re opend application that would be aprox 3 hours, which works out.
