Hands down, the biggest problem I came up against was that when I had finally bought all the land and shoved everything aside, all I could see was a vast amount of green screen (this was before the snow hit). There is absolutely NO context to let you know how far one thing is relative to another thing, how far off the edge you are, etc.
When you click to buy land, the larger rectangles help you see where the approximate spots would be for dividing it into halves or quarters for zones ... But once you release that "buy" land button and try to set some marker, The whole thing just goes to solid color again.
I hope you can figure out what I mean.
Now excuse me while I scream something really really really loud. Cover your ears. And get the younguns out of the room:
GIVE ANNETTE A $&"&+%%@#* ZOOM-OUT FEATURE!!!
There. I feel better.
Honest advice ... If you can work out a graph, even a rough one, do it. Make a list of all the buildings you have. Look on the wikia thingie. I think we can give a link to it ... Here's the feature I find best on their site. This is a link to their Wiggum House page ... Two important pieces of info for a rebuild.
First, notice that it gives the SIZE of a building. (In this case, 8x4) that info can be really helpful for the larger buildings, ESPECIALLY if you don't have it yet.
Second, at the bottom of that page (and all the other buildings pages) is a list of every building ... Hyperlinked, etc. You can have a look at the list in one take, decide which ones are potentials, and get an idea of what land/arrangement you're going to need.

Hope they don't mind a link. If that's a nono, I'm sure they can edit ... Okay, mods?
