- If I remember correctly from the last chance at the platinum scratchers, the cost and value varied depending on which country you are located in. For example, I think it is an ok deal in the US, but more expensive and less appealing in Canada. But an even better deal in the UK, all due to the exchange costs.
But anyway, I understand the idea of a minimum floor exceeding the normal purchase price. But they set it up so that there is more of an element of risk or chance this way, but also a nice reward for those few who hit the jackpot. I got 125 the first time, and then 100 just now. So would have been better to buy out right. But I still enjoyed the game and idea more than just buying donuts in the typical fashion. I don't know if they will bring this back a third time or not. Also have mixed feelings on limiting every player to a single ticket. I probably would have taken my chance on another. but I'm probably a sucker, ie preferred customer at Burns casino  - I was peeved. Before this recent opportunity, i was notified that it was available ; but i had to arrive in an area that had better internet access. Soooooooo, when i signed in, i got an update aaaaaaaand updated my scratcher out of existence.
Its such a pain in the * to communicate with EA , so i drove to the bus stop and complained..........and then i drove away. Snakeyees wrote:

Did anyone win the jackpot last time? ...or this time
I got 1,000 last time I posted a picture in the other thread and I still have 959 Donuts and I'm think im going to pass on this scratcher I'm not going to chance my luck and not get 1000 Donuts again
I got 1000 last time and also thought there was no chance to get anything higher than 100 this time. But then I decided that even 1100 for $16 is a good deal and bought it and got 300. :)
But maybe I'm kind of paying for that good luck with no success at Rocket Launch Pad which brings me only debris and ants sings so far.bradyc79 wrote:

Yeah. It cost £5.99 here, and even if you get the worst prize, it's still cheaper than buying 100 donuts.- Got 300 the first time.....got 115 this time.....got 45 with the remaining $2 regular Scratch-R's.
