Or unlock the restrictions of where we can put things. Pier only, grass only, Krustyland only, Springfield only, ocean only, sand only. PAH-LEASE #UNLOCK-IT-ALL-TSTO - skollthewolfRising NoviceAside from the fact that it screwed up my landing pad -- I have the statue of Jebediah Springfield dead center of old Springfield, and I liked having it as the first thing I looked at when I opened the game -- I like Springfield Heights. Get rid of all of the pesky buildings that you have to level up and it's a sweet amount of new land to put up...well, whatever you want. I've set up an awesome ritzy part of town with it.
Are they doing a Part 3 of SH? If they do, could we at least get a second tunnel? - blackgryphon9999Seasoned NovicePersonally, I like SH. My only wish is that we could get monorail track over the mountains.
- DigitalBagginsNew NoviceI like it now that it's done it was like getting a monkey off my back hip hip hooray when you finish it you don't have to do yoga mats anymore
- I don't hate SH, but I don't love it either. I wish the buildings paid something instead of being decorative and I like to have all the crafting supplies maxed out because the floaty things above the buildings bugs me.
I do like the extra land, but I use mine for holiday stuff and other buildings that just don't fit into my town. - I'm fine leaving SH as it. I'm not done with it.
If saving memory is the concern, then let's just perform a late term abortion on Krusty Land. Other than the Christmastime quest that forced me to go there, I haven't even looked at it since 2014. I think I had some tertiary character stuck in there for over a year lol - someonewashereRising NoviceTo quote Reverend Lovejoy:
"Oh, short answer, "yes" with an "if." Long answer, "no" with a "but.""

Its true many people whine, b-witch and complain about SH but some of these are based on soild points and should be discussed, i may be a bit nitpicky so i apologize before hand.
In my opinion there are three big issues that SH has (i mean sure its small about 1/8th or so of our springfield and with private islands its ocean property feels very small, etc. etc.), they are :
Time
Characters
Time
Allow me to elaborate
1. Time
I mean real time the time im spending writing this post, or making some toast, going on a commute to work coming back from work, working, taking a dump etc. Generally speaking most people are busy or at least remain busy to some degree, yet some people have no time, for example i read this thread 24 hours ago and wanted to post yet i didnt have time until well now 24 hours later. Honestly this has been a busy week and im hoping next week will be a bit easier, having blown some steam and talked past my issues i'll get to the point.
You need to spend some time in SH to actually get anywhere sure its "short" times it does feel like short bursts and it can be done in short bursts, yet in order to make an actual dent in that 1 billion goal you'll need some serious time, generally 30mins-1 Hr or 2 per session per day should start showing some progress.
Some people dont have that time or the time in between sessions is to great, you ever left lisa on her coffee making task for 8 hours or more only to come back and realize you forgot about her? then of course you have side quests, events and mini events which leads me to the next point.
2.Characters
I see characters in 2 groups, which divide into 2 categories and then an array of sub-categories,
You have "Level-Based" characters and "Event" characters.
Category 1 is Freemium, category 2 Premium, sub-categories fall into groups and groupings such as: Adults, Kids, old folks, male, female, gluttons, high rollers, etc.
Generally you get 1(some cases 2) freemium character and 1 Premium character (or skin in some cases) per level, events vary however it can be anywhere from 1-3 (or more) characters introduced in an event either a mix of freemium and premium or sometimes 1-3 freemium and 1-3 premium characters, not including skins, returning characters or returning skins.
Pretty basic, the problem is that the characters required for events often include the characters obtained in the earlier levels, which make sense as that means everyone past a certain point should have them, somtimes quest require SPECIFIC characters, such as Homer or Lisa to begin, or they may require Apu, Flanders, Krusty, Reverend Lovejoy, Mr. Burns etc.
On the off chance that they dont require specific characters they may require characters that fall into certain categories, such as adults, kids, gluttons and so on, characters that fall into these categories obtained early in the game include but are not limited too:Apu, Flanders, Krusty, Reverend Lovejoy, Mr. Burns, Homer, Lisa, Milhouse, etc.
These characters are also required for SH, limiting the characters you can send to SH during an event, what if you arent in an event?
They are also used to produce monorail tracks, which i feel is done a bit better, more characters are allowed to produce resources and some characters such as the Hippie, Lisa and Jesse Grass can craft multiple resources, on the other hand i am grateful for the 1 hr task for Number 1 Control the "Latte Market" (even if i dont have the character) if more tasks like that were creaated i believe the limited amount of characters would be much less of an issue.
3.Time
Back to time, to start of Furniture isnt an issue it will never be an issue, 30 secs is perfect for it, the other task are a bit meh.
As stated before you need to sit down to get anything really done, i know some people will play during work or during there work break but even then i'll get 3 or more rounds of Coffee, 1 round of medicine and awards (if i have the resources for them) a couple rounds of yoga mats if im lucky.
Thats why i like Number 1's task, if i had him i would definitely have him producing coffee all the time, i could go to work and work 6-8 hours and leave him on that 1 hour task and feel like it wasnt a complete waste.
Id like more tasks like that, i dont mind the tasks not awarding much just as long as the length is longer i know it sounds backwards.
I do enjoy SH its a nice thought, there just a couple issues some personal others gamewise, i apologize for being nitpicky and biased and i understand if peoples opinions differ from mine or clash with mine.
With the somewhat recent ad expansion i was hoping for some changes and was cautiously optimistic until i realized Skinner and Martin are used to produce ads.
It was my fault for raising my hopes and then sending them down, i'll simply respond with this:

I also apologize for any grammar, punctuation or spelling errors, as well as run on sentences, i wrote this while multi tasking and in a hurry. - I'm in it for the end character.
727 bill and working my way up inbetween events.
It's grindy and I miss those easy modern mansions. - the yoga mats are tough but some days I really groove on working in SH's
- I just want the same amount of land lengthwise to match Springfield. I would love to be able to move all the homes/mansions of the rich there and be able to spread them out to give each a nice piece of land. Right now, with what we have, it's just not possible.
