- i hope they don't add the social battle thing with 3 a day battles
- I sympathize with the OP. The battles were fun and cute at first, but after a while I found myself a little depressed with all the depicted conflict time after time. I was so happy when the game finally got the fast-forward option on the battles.
By the way, I grew up with Looney Tunes (classic!), the Three Stooges, and yes the original Adam West tv Batman (doo doo doo dah doo doo doo dah!). - I'm desentised to violence, but I think I understand the OP... I was there once. I won't comment on what's being said as I believe there's good coverage already. Instead I would like to focus on the mindset.
I think everyone has views and at times we express them. Some attempts might be bolder than others. Some might result in backlash. The expressor could either agree, fall in line, ignore disagreement, or find a place which accepts their views. It's a part of life to experiment and expand our limits and capabilities, sometimes with risk.
So OP, have a browse, review, reflect and then soldier on whilst being careful on tone. As for myself, I used to lack a voice, but eventually I got one. I'm still developing this voice of mine and I still have a long way to go before its polished.
And well, there are some games where I wished the villains didn't have to go through what they had to go through. ;) chippers29775 wrote:

Very. Well. Said. 8)ArmpitAttack wrote:
The low quality of the fights is also depressing. It's like being forced to sit through buffering buffering buffering.
I discovered very early on in the event that you can quickly tap the fight icon so you don't have to watch the "brawl" but still have control over who fights and for how long (unlike the fast forward feature).
I do agree we all are entitled to our opinions but I tend to agree with 4junk3000's suggestion of modifying your own behaviour to best suit your needs rather than asking others (ie: game developers) to modify theirs.bebadbirds wrote:

I frankly dont get this line of reasoning. I certainly dont wish the game developers ill, but neither am I all that concerned about them having to limit their creativity (in the words of 4j3k). As the customer (admittedly only one amongst many), my wants and needs trump theirs. If you want to consider that point of view egotistical or self-centered, Im fine with that.someonewashere wrote:

Why do people get so easily offended by everything now days. it's just a game
Better question: why do people get so easily offended by opinions that are different than their own?
"Im offended that your offended at my being offended"
I told that to a co-worker one day just for the heck of it we were messing around, but it is true people get a lot more easily nowadays i dont know if its because of the large PC culture that is spreading, or the simple fact that people can voice there opinion more easily and to a larger audience.
Issue here is it isnt that violent.
IM using the movie rating system, its not R for blood, its not PG-13 for suggestive sexual content or swearing, at most its PG the only guns are On Cyborg Snake, the closest to suggestive content would be Charcoal Briquette Heck Maggie fights by bouncing, The Scoutmaster fights by throwing GIRL SCOUT COOKIES, Homer fights by throwing pies!

While i respect your opinion i believe that more important changes can improve the overall feeling of this game.
I want to add - I don't know whats going on in Your game - but no one is Killed in mine.... they fight and rest it off for 4 hours. No death, murder or killing involved. - I don't mind the fights, but the event is just going on too long.
- To OP: Precious snowflake is precious.
