The more land you have the harder it is to track down your characters too.

Is that also related to road surface? Because I noticed that my neighbors with very little roadway have their characters congregate in one place.

Thankfully this is why we have the town hall character finder  God Send when that was added to the game along with the character icon in the top left for assigning them all tasks :)

I would like a button that would allow us to move characters around. For instance, if you have a character doing an interesting stationary task, you would be able to move them along with the associated object to anywhere else. I know that the Family Guy game has this, but it only works before assigning tasks.
  • I get why EA wouldn't do it, because this is "Tapped Out" and tapping your characters is the point of the game, but I have to agree with urlaub694... Personally, I now have 148 PCs in my game. It takes several minutes to assign tasks to all my toons. I enjoy this game for the writing/comedy of the quests, the "collecting" aspect, I love decorating/town-design, I enjoy the events and associated tasks... But I'm really getting burned-out tapping 148 characters just for generic tasks (I don't mind quest-related tasks)... Even if I only run them on 24hr shifts, devoting 10 minutes just to cycle through my characters isn't fun anymore.

So yeah, I'm voting +1 with the OP asking for a way to select a time and "assign all". Make it only available after a certain level or number of characters, that's fine (like L50 or 100 toons). If you set your Button to 24hrs and a character doesn't have that, then they don't get assigned (you can either reset the Button to another time or just manually set off the outlying character(s)).
