post monorail question

yeah was thinking all heck would break loose, worse than all the maple store threads combined it was not to become a permanent part of the game, but then it kinda negates the event we just played except we got it all for free.

It depends on the way you have the track laid out, there was a thread about it a while ago if you find it it will tell you how to make it go clockwise

Of course we do not know. Even if it were in the files today, it might change.

My guess is that future players will have to grind for them the same way we did; with the possibility of donuts to speed it up, as usual.

i've thought of it as well, if they cost donuts i guess they'll cost the same as the Krusty one, 150 donuts, otherwise hopefully they offer one station and make the player choose (?) given the characters needed it would be a lv 20 thing?

However youd need the railyard, dump and all 3 Depots in order for it to work....so i have no idea how it would work (im sure some people would complain if it gets released after the event)

I don't quite think that is the fairest as I could have bought the whole thing with in game cash rather than grinding for three weeks. That would anger anyone who played the event. I agree, if it is kept or re-released for cash I'd be a little upset. I felt same way when some of the painfully earned Easter items were given away for cash. Still a very intriguing question. I'm interested to see how it'll turn out.

The latest trend has been to discourage cash production and to encourage short (or very short in the case of SH) tasks for non-cash.

- The restructuring of house prices to discourage house farming.
- The Money Mountain to drain cash.
- SH tasks are non-cash.
- Now the Railyard; again non-cash.

Hence why I think players who did not do the event will be doing grinding for non-cash to get these; or donuts.

Is a KL event/level up-coming? That would also be non-cash.

I'm fine with them being permanent. This is more of an expansion than just limited time event building like CoC. It would be like not having squid port available to everyone.
