Prizes are all guaranteed eventually

Ugh, my head hurts reading the first post...
I finally got the restaurant yesterday. Finally. I have been playing since the day that this event began, have completed all the quests, visit my neighbors daily (most of whom have stopped this event all together...), maybe I am able to turn in a basket a day (it was more in the beginning when I was still completing quests), and all this work... what do I have to show for it? WAAAAAAAY too many fences and ponds. I have done every event for the last two years and it was good when it was merit based. This isn't. There is no real incentive any more. It isn't that it is difficult, it is just beyond tedious with little to no reward for it. For instance, visiting neighbors. If eggs are so hard to earn and prizes so rare, why give neighbors eggs when you get half of the opposite eggs in return? It is a complete loss. Nearly every neighbor doesn't return the favor. There are also only a few characters that earns few eggs in long tasks. Harvesting carrots only gets you, what is it, about a dozen bunnies?
There needs to be a better way and better incentive in participating in this event. Have more characters search for eggs. Make earning gold eggs so much easier. Have better incentives for neighbor visits (possibly higher eggs in return or for visiting?).
Change the odds in the baskets.
Honestly. It is beyond any event that I have done in the years that I have been a member. Each event, I have earned all the prizes. Sometimes it has been easy, sometimes difficult - but doable. This isn't. It isn't fun. People aren't helping out one another. Frustrating. And I am NOT the type to post complaint threads or posts but here it is.. Sorry :(

Gold boxes, not total boxes.

I haven't even cleared the boxes in my common color, let alone any of the other boxes. I've had pretty decent luck in all the other events, but my chances of clearing all the prizes in this event is looking pretty slim.

I got the lizards on box 7 so that disproves this logic

The only guarantee from this event is that it stinks and is driving away new and long-term players by the droves.

With their new way of doing the events, I start them not expecting to collect everything. But really EA is the one losing because since I absolutely hate the randomness of the wheels or the boxes, I don't buy any eggs like I would if I were guaranteed to collect a prize, like I did for WD last year.

Now with Easter, I really don't expect to collect everything since I am locked out of my game and now I just wish not to lose the prizes I had collected so far especially father Sean and blocko.

There are either different rules for unlocking vs. guarantee, or regular boxes vs. gold boxes. I haven't worked it out quite yet.

The guarantee is nice, but the minimum box requirements are not and the guarantees aren't likely going to matter, aside from the common-color box.

Yeah dude, I play every couple of hours (why?!?) since the start of the event and I've still only got 7 gold boxes (and no faberge egg). I've really really enjoyed this game but it's not fun anymore. I may not hit the minimum to get Shary either.
