Pro Shop Vs Duff Garden/Lizard Queen

UGH. I need help!!! I've been busting my butt earning donuts to buy the Pro Shop and all of a sudden Gil's Deal is back!!!! I'm at 114 donuts, and I only have 3 days to get to 145 for Duff Gardens, 4 days is I decide to get the Pro Shop. I'm too broke to buy donuts so I have to earn them.... so I work harder to get the Duff Gardens or do I relax a little and get the Pro Shop? Is there anyone here who has both and can recommend which one to get? It's one or the other so.... help?

I don't have both (I have the space coyote). Some pros and cons:

Space Coyote and pro shop-

Pros:
Well-known character
A funny visual task with Homer
I like the sound he makes (howling)

Cons:
Building is quite large and the sign on top of the temple is odd

Duff Gardens-

Pros:
Free craftables (gnomes, etc.)
Goes well with Duffman and Duff factory
Lizard Queen skin for Lisa

Cons:
I've heard complaints about how it would look better in Krustyland
Higher in price

Personally, I feel like the Space Coyote is a better buy but, like I said, I passed on Duff Gardens.

Hope that helps.

  • I still haven't received the Duff Gardens Gil deal. I guess I never will. (Level 939 now...)
I too, have been grinding KEMs to buy the Pro Shop. As much as I'd like Duff Gardens, I'm not going to pass up the chance to have the space coyote.

    Agree w/the others...
Duff Gardens just ok, w/chatchke junkiness
Space Coyote is Icon not to be missed 8)
  • I have both, and to be honest, it's a bit of a toss up. Space coyote needs homer for one of his visual tasks, though that task is hilarious, and his only other one is just him becoming a giant head. But he's also a great character, and seeing him walk around my town always makes me chuckle. The pro shop is really awkward however. It's a difficult building to fit in your town, as it is quite big.
Duff gardens is a nice addition, however, after receiving the same 4 items over and over again, it gets kinda boring. Lizard queen Lisa has some great visual tasks of her going crazy around town. So I definitely don't regret getting her. If I could have only had one, I'd go with the coyote, because he's a new character, not just a skin.

Sums it up nicely. Honestly I've enjoyed Lizard Queen Lisa (I have her running around town going crazy as much as possible - I really wish they'd give her a one hour task) and Duff Gardens (it does get boring after a while, but tapping the 50+ creepy gnomes I've crafted makes me chuckle) way more than I have the space coyote and his giant, ugly building.

But on the other side - space Coyote! Limited time space Coyote. If I had the choice, I'd get the coyote now and wait for duff gardens later.
  • Thanks everyone, I really appreciate the input. It made me realize that the only reason I was even considering DG/LQL was because the deal had disappeared on me when it had first been offered and I'd never even had the chance to decide if I wanted it. Space Coyote it is!
