Are you also having trouble with the "Retry" button? THAT's what MY biggest problem is. I keep trying to tap "Retry" and the BUTTON doesn't work. All of a sudden, it finally does. Sometimes after stabbing at it a dozen times or more. Yeah, my screen is clean, and all else works fine. Just the dang "Retry" button. (The irony is thick.)
Exactly that. I keep hitting it and hitting it, and eventually it just works. Also if I leave my phone while it's loading it might lock the screen, but when I unlock it'll still be on the app. Nowadays, when I unlock I'm back on my home screen as if I'd never even opened it.ephphoneapps wrote:

And yet... still better than calling someone a liar when they present evidence by refuting that evidence as a Photoshop job, which it wasn't. Apparently you're not the Photoshop genius you think you are.- I finally got Gil a little while ago. Even though it is actually deal, I'm unsure if I'll bite since the lack of new content has diminished my interest in the game.

Tottally agree. It's a deal but still lame. I have the donuts in my freemium town but I am passing. Otto was my first purchase in my main town, love him but don't need two with halloween around the corner. At this rate the rest of my holiday donuts from last year will last me until the end of the game.- I got another small update from logging in just a moment ago, but since I own Otto already, I have no deal. I have to wait 4 more days for an update? :(
I guess I will just keep trying to earn more money for that sit and rotate.
If they ever make Gil a character I really want to come with the hot air balloon. You know, the one that he has been living in. :wink: With your ha-cha-chas and your do-re-mi's. - That small update, "just a moment ago" is what it seems to have taken in order for Gil to appear for me. Of course, the game promptly crashed before I could actually tap on Gil, but whatever. Sigh.

NONE of those were offered the Gil deal when I just visited them.
Then there's my newest feeder. Level 8. I just logged into it, and there's good old Gil standing (well, kneeling) there. Here's the screencap. (No fair judging my town, please.)
I am struck by the fact that another picture on this thread shows a low-level town with the deal. Are the ONLY towns with pictures of Gil deals from low-levels? So, do you suppose that they have it backward? And that ONLY towns BELOW a certain level are getting the deal? Again, none of my other feeders have decorations.
NOTE: IF EA ADVISES YOU TO UNINSTALL AND REINSTALL THE GAME, TELL THEM I SAID PHOOEY. I did that, and it DOES NOT WORK.
