quitting tasks
You can always either store the building that person is in or store the building they came with (if they came with one).

I store a character if I sent them on the wrong task or need them for an event task and didn't realize it. Of course, EA will probably never make a "quit" button because they want us to spend those donuts and then buy more. ;)
