Hitting the home button instead of the friend button when you've spent ages doing the premium friend trick and resetting the total.

I got this yesterday (20% remaining), cleared it right away, and was shocked that it didn't kick me back to the title screen for the first time ever. Then at 10% it also didn't kick me out.
Don't know if something changed recently, but this was a pleasant surprise.
That changed in the Christmas update I think it was, hasnt kicked me out since then, and sure it was mentioned on here at the time (unless I imagined it lol)
